What we are Growing

Cherries | Apricots | Apples| Pears | Plums
Grapes | Figs | Mulberries| Saskatoons
Peaches | Nectarines | Walnuts | Hazelnuts

In the Garden

We grow a wide variety of vegetables. Some are sold fresh at the farmers markets and the rest are preserved through sun-drying and dehydration.

Our fruits and vegetables are dried using only the heat from the sun or warm air and there are absolutely no additives or preservatives!

What is Permaculture?

“Permaculture is a philosophy of working with, rather than against nature; of protracted and thoughtful observations rather than protracted and thoughtless labor; and of looking at plants and animals in all their functions, rather than treating any area as a single product system.”

Bill Mollison

At Ambercott Acres, we farm according to these practices. We do not use any: animal fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or plastics on our plants as we attempt to work with nature and embrace the biodiversity of plants and animals on our farm. we control pests using natural methods such as yearly crop rotation and smaller patches of crops in different areas to prevent infestations.

Our cherry trees are covered in large mesh bags to avoid spraying for invasive bugs.

We believe that farmers are first and foremost stewards of the earth. By nurturing the soil, we are able to ensure not only a bountiful and healthy harvest but a sustainable one that can continue for many years.

  1. Hi there,

I saw on Facebook you’re now selling some products and am very interested! Do you deliver to Penticton and if so, is there a delivery cost?

    Thank you!

    1. Hello Kristina!

We are so happy you found us. Currently we are working on a virtual storefront with the Penticton farmer’s market and localline.ca where you will be able to order online and pick up at a drive-through delivery spot at the Penticton community centre parking lot on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm starting this April 29th. For now we are happy to take your order by email as well, just send it to ambercottacres@gmail.com. We take e-transfers for payments and would be happy to deliver.

Thank you so much for your support
Hope to hear from you soon

from all three of us at Ambercott Acres

    2. Hey guys! Do you deliver to Oliver? Or is there any spots I could pick up your produce? Thanks so much!

      1. Hi Brett!

We are doing an order drop-off through the Penticton farmers’ market at the Penticton community centre on Power st. every Saturday. You can also do a mid-week pick up at the farm in Cawston. If you place an order larger than $50 we can also deliver to you in Oliver.

You can see our inventory of fresh and dried goods and place an order at our online store: https://www.localline.ca/ambercott-acres.

Feel free to leave us a comment or send us an email at ambercottacres@gmail.com if you have any more questions.

Thank you so much for finding us!!
