Mom’s Stuffing

1 pkg Golden Marriage
5 cups bread crumbs
1/3 cup butter
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp sage
1/2 tbsp rosemary
1 egg
1 cup broth

optional: raisins/currants, walnuts

In a bowl, combine golden marriage mix with breadcrumbs. Brown butter in a pot and incorporate into breadcrumb mixture. Stir in salt, pepper and herbs. Whisk egg into broth and fold into mixture until thoroughly combined. Stuff bird or transfer to baking dish and cover with foil. Cook at 350 until internal temperature reaches 160°F (approx 30 minutes).
